How many sessions will I need?
 

We are not into recommending that you need 6 or 30 sessions!   You decide what’s helpful, at your pace.

We welcome one-off or occasional check-in sessions.

Individual or Team Professional Support

Contracts for services negotiated with your employer as professional or personal development, supervision or EAP work.

Usually a few sessions in quick succession or monthly check-ins.

 

Who are your clients?
We meet with many people of all ages, genders and lifestyles – often at significant periods in their lives.

Work may be with a family, group, community or organisation to help clarify issues, respond in a clear manner, prepare for the delivery of news or reach agreements about issues previously too hard to talk about.

Individuals may be affected by: troubling emotions, concern for others, mental or physical health conditions, unexpected lifestyle changes, problems of relating or be experiencing a sense of stuckness, failure or helplessness.  Others may have a niggle that they’d like to mull over in a safe place.

Whether you’re looking for a major change of direction, have some big questions that you need to run past someone or are feeling out of kilter – taking time to pause and make sense of what’s going on around you, helps.

What's the corporate work about?
WHITI – understanding and movement.

Our mission is to help people get from A to B by shedding light on matters so they can become clear about what they need to do that makes sense for themselves, and their company.

Assistance does not need to be a drawn out process.  We can be in and out of your company before you know it, if that’s what you want.

Consultation services include assisting people with problems of relating, management of emotions and behaviours, or helping managers facilitate a response to problematic incidents.

Standing back to get a fresh awareness of what is going on can be achieved in one-on-one conversations or with key people in a group.

What's the project work about?
Not sure how to address the issues that affect people’s performance and well-being?

We’ve worked closely with HR and Operational Managers to design and implement solutions to prevent people from becoming hardened, cynical, traumatised and consequently ineffective, due to the nature of their work.

Our mission is to deliver cost effective and responsive professional  support; the services include advice, coaching and counselling – all that businesses need to complement an effective HR system. Or if you require some HR employment expertise – we can point you in that direction too.

We take a roll-your-sleeves up approach and meet you wherever the business is at right now. Touchy topics and working with people who find communication difficult or uncomfortable are issues we work with daily.

On an upside – getting the chance to harness the energy, vision and enthusiasm of team members to create their own sustainable business practices is what we really get excited about.

The approach

 

We provide an environment that allows people, with little space or time, to attend to things they are finding problematic.

Our area of expertise involves helping people to step away from the effects of whatever is bothering them and into where they’d prefer to be.

We address anything from a niggle to a crisis.

We work hard to understand how you view the world so we can do more of what works for you.  If you’ve had enough of talking we stand back and use a whiteboard or other creative techniques to get a fresh awareness of what’s going on.

It’s lovely playing a part in shifting distress and to share people’s delight when they discover that there is hope for things to improve.

A lot can be achieved in a single session.  For some people that’s enough, while others prefer more.
